Description
This dongle provides an I²C interface that can be accessed programmatically using languages like C# or Python. We needed this to work with our coincell simulator in a PCB test system, but were unable to find something already on the market except for the various development boards that FTDI provides. The dongle is based on the FT4222HQ USB interface chip.
The power output can be altered between 3.3V (default) and 5V by means of a solder jumper. Connector and pinout are compatible with QWIIC and Stemma QT. And electrically compatible with Grove I2C peripherals.
Being fully reliant on FTDI silicon, drivers and libraries, we can provide only limited support for this device!
