Fieldbus Junction box (Rugged)

Description

An improved design of our junction box. This one with pluggable screw terminal blocks and an earthing facility. Also has 1nF safety capacitors for terminating cable shields when direct bonding to earth is not allowed. The 120Ω termination is now of the PTC variation, thus intrinsically protected against over-voltages. And the enclosures are made of glass-fiber reinforced polyester (GRP), which is much tougher than polycarbonate or aluminium enclosures, particularly when it comes to impact strength.

Enclosures are delivered with drilled and tapped holes, but without cable glands due to the large variance of available options. We plan on having a product configurator. In the meantime, just send us a message and we’ll arrange for something.

As a lower cost solution, we also offer the circuit board by itself as an OEM module. These allow for integration into larger or existing systems.
