Fieldbus Junction box (Rugged)

Description

This PCB-based junction box is designed for efficient and reliable distribution of CAN-bus and similar fieldbus wiring in industrial, automotive, and automation applications. It features a robust printed circuit board (PCB) architecture that supports 4, 6, 10, or 13 ports, providing flexible connection options for complex networking environments. Each port is equipped with pluggable screw or spring terminals for secure wiring and quick installation.

These CAN-bus/RS485 junction board designs feature pluggable screw terminal blocks and an earthing facility. Also has 1nF safety capacitors for terminating cable shields when direct bonding to earth is not allowed. The 120Ω termination is now of the PTC variation, thus intrinsically protected against over-voltages.

These low cost OEM versions come without an enclosure. This makes it suitable for integration in an existing cabinet or equipment. Or simply to reduce cost by providing your own enclosure.
