Description

Conducted EMI testing can be demanding, especially with the wide range of coupling / decoupling networks that can be required. Our solution does not fix that problem, but at least offers some financial relief.

Although the concept of these devices is quite simple and straight forward, the actual building of these devices does take quite a bit of perseverance. First there is the challenge of putting together the right  combination of ferrites to provide the desired filtering. Then there are some specific requirements to the enclosure of the device, which are not easily met with of the shelf boxes. And finally a high level of consistency of putting these devices together in order to create decent repeatability of the performance data.

Each CDN is supplied with shorting plugs that interface with our generic impedance reference plane jig. This jig – which can be purchased separately or as an option – features a miniature alligator grabber so that can work with any CDN. Typically you’d need only one for all your CDNs.
